Right from inception Sri Sachidananda Venkateswara Avadhutha Sai Vrudha Sankshema Asramam's goal has been to provide the best possible services the old people living in the home, without compromising on the quality of services. Even though setting up many of the services being provided to the old people in Asramam, involved quite an investment, Sevashram, with its immense goodwill and generous supporters have been able to mobilize resources to set up these services. At present Sevashram has 25 inmates who are being provided with all possible services.
Sri Sachidananda Venkateswara Avadhutha Sai Vrudha Sankshema Asramam has been awarded as the Best Old Age Home in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, India on World Elders Day providing best services to senior citizens old age persons.
Sri Sachidananda Venkateswara Avadhutha Sai Vrudha Sankshema Asramam is located at Padala Village in Tadepalligudem Mandal in West Godavari District just adjacent to the main road which connects Eluru and Tanuku (State Highway) which is about 20 kms, away from Balanagar Junction. The land is surrounded by Agricultural fields creating a calm, clean and green environment and is well connected with good transport facilities.
The building is constructed with RCC Structure and has 10 very spacious rooms of 250 sq.ft. each with simple and good architectural values for inmates. A library room of 300 sq.ft., a dinning room of 1000 sq.ft, and spacious kitchen of 800 sq.ft. SRI SACHIDANANDA VENKATESWARA AVADHUTHA SAI VRUDHA SANKSHEMA ASRAMAM is having its own borewell, overhead Tank, and also water purification plant. Security is provided round the clock.

The library is spread over 300 sq.ft. with a collection of books on poetry, essays, short stories, periodicals, spiritual, philosophy, and novels. These are books from 1910 to till date are kept neatly on shelves. Tables and chairs are provided for reading books. In addition to these daily newspapers in local languages and English along with magazines are also readily available to know day to day development around the world and country. Generally, senior citizens are found of reading spiritual, philosophy of their choice. To keep them busy, every care is taken in maintaining the library to the best of the standards.
The kitchen is situated in an area of 600 sq.ft. approximately and store room with around 200 sq.ft. makes it more spacious. We have upgraded the kitchen from time to time an now we are equipped with modern cooking ranges, water filters, refrigerators, wet grinders and utensils. To keep the inmates healthy and considering age factor we provide them with tasty, nutritious and pure vegetarian food.
The dining hall has a floor space of 1000 sq.ft. and has a capacity for dine for a maximum 25 members. This hall is equipped with an Air Cooler and a color television
SRI SACHIDANANDA VENKATESWARA AVADHUTHA SAI VRUDHA SANKSHEMA ASRAMAM has a beautiful landscaped garden having lawns, fruit, flower and vegetable plants. In the evening the inmates enjoy the nature by sitting in the lawns and share their memories of the life. There is a special kitchen garden developed separately where the vegetables are grown by natural manures. The vegetables grown are utilized by the SRI SACHIDANANDA VENKATESWARA AVADHUTHA SAI VRUDHA SANKSHEMA ASRAMAM kitchen. Some of the inmates are also helping voluntarily in maintaining garden which not only keeps them busy but also keeps them fit. In the evenings some inmates also do meditation in the garden.
Regular Medical check-up is organized by the SRI SACHIDANANDA VENKATESWARA AVADHUTHA SAI VRUDHA SANKSHEMA ASRAMAM, with the help of renowned doctors. As part of the service to the society, we are encouraging the nearby village people to avail of free medical check-up periodically. There is a church hospital run by missionaries in the nearby village. We also have a tie-up with the same hospital for the supply of ambulance. In addition, homeopathy medicines are also given free of cost by one of our inmates. Our inmates voluntarily teach nearby village poor and orphan children.
SRI SACHIDANANDA VENKATESWARA AVADHUTHA SAI VRUDHA SANKSHEMA ASRAMAM also has installed Amaron Inverter to cater when power failures take place, as earlier elderly people were facing problems, particularly in the nights.
We have a water purification plant, which purifies the water from the bore. The water is free of bacteria and dirt and when compared it is as good as any leading brands of mineral water brands available in the market.
